I also was wondering if it is possible to have resumable video with the player. Here’s an example of what I mean.

Thanks for all the support!

Hello John,
we would really like to add this feature to our plugin. I wonder if having it based on cookies would be enough (that means it would be remembered in each browser separately) or if it would be better to store this information in your user database as well (to allow each member to use multiple computers and always continue where they left off).
Thanks,
MartinHi Martin,
That sounds great. I think it would be best to store that information so any computer would remember it but I’m not sure how difficult that would be. I guess you could store it in the wordpress user’s account and so it would only work if they were logged in which is great I think. That would also be another great way to get people to register for a free account.
Hello John,
thank you for the feedback!
We worked on a Video Link feature which works with exact time in the video: https://foliovision.com/2017/04/fvplayer-video-links-and-other-improvements
It contains some parts which will be needed for remembering the video playback position as well.
However currently we are asked most often for a feature to put any video popup at any time in any video, so we have to work on that next.
Thanks,
MartinOk thanks. I haven’t been able to get the video links to work on my main site.

Any ideas?
John
I have enabled the sharing and embed button but only the sharing shows up. It does show up on the blog. This is a different website though. https://www.learningguitarnow.com/blog/website/rockin-blues-solo-rhythm/
Hello John,
I’m just closing some old thread – the video position storing was added couple of months ago: https://foliovision.com/2018/03/position-saving-video-fields
The video links were not working on your website because of Vimeo quality switching. It was fixed in some other thread.
Thanks,
Martin
